Valencia CF promote and reinforce social actions during 2021

The club once again helped the most vulnerable groups in society this past year

In 2021, Valencia CF continued their social commitment to contributing to improving society, especially in situations accentuated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Valencia CF, the VCF Foundation, the VCF Academy, VCF Femenino and the VCF Footballers Association have worked throughout the year to promote solidarity for citizens and entities, using the club values of commitment, perseverance, dedication, teamwork, effort, family, unity and solidarity.

Seasonal activities, such as the delivery of toys to children in Valencian hospitals at Christmas, have accompanied year-long initiatives such as the use of Mestalla as a handover location for the Banco de Alimentos foodbank.

In the field of public health, there were collaborations with the Spanish Association Against Cancer, the regional Blood Transfusion Centre and the Cruz Roja. Another project saw PUMA hospital gowns, made from official team shirts, delivered to children in hospitals.

The annual Asindown calendar was also produced in 2021, and the club recognised significant movements such as Breast Cancer Awareness Day and the fight against ALS.

Since September, the ADN Mestalla Solidari initiative has taken place to recognise the work of Valencian entities at LaLiga matches at Mestalla.

The Escoles Cor Blanquinegre initiative celebrated its sixth anniversary in 2021, and VCF Inclusivo its fifth.

The club itself joined forces with the LaLiga Foundation for the 14th Meeting of Professional Football Club Foundations.

An example of the importance given at the VCF Academy to the training of homegrown players as people saw different social actions run within the Academia en Comunidad initiative.
